This document offers a transparent look at the company\u2019s environmental impact and highlights Hotpack\u2019s role as a catalyst for climate-positive change in the packaging industry.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"526\" data-end=\"716\">The report assesses emissions across Scopes 1, 2, and 3 for the period January to December 2024. Hotpack\u2019s total carbon footprint amounted to 53,320 tons of CO\u2082 equivalent, with:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"718\" data-end=\"894\">\n<li data-start=\"718\" data-end=\"765\">\n<p data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"765\">Direct emissions (Scope 1): 16,963 tons<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"826\">\n<p data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"826\">Electricity-related emissions (Scope 2): 30,579 tons<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"894\">\n<p data-start=\"829\" data-end=\"894\">Supply chain and logistics activities (Scope 3): 5,777 tons<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"896\" data-end=\"1078\">Major contributors to direct emissions included diesel fuel use and transportation logistics, while Scope 3 emissions were driven largely by waste disposal and third-party logistics.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1080\" data-end=\"1154\">Hotpack has set ambitious greenhouse gas reduction targets for 2035:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1155\" data-end=\"1292\">\n<li data-start=\"1155\" data-end=\"1224\">\n<p data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1224\">Cutting Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 63% from the 2024 baseline<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1225\" data-end=\"1292\">\n<p data-start=\"1227\" data-end=\"1292\">Reducing Scope 3 emissions by 37.5% per unit of value added<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1294\" data-end=\"1547\">Key initiatives supporting these goals include installing solar panels at National Industries Park, which alone reduces 1,393 metric tons of CO\u2082 emissions annually, and adopting energy-efficient equipment, LED lighting, and water-saving systems.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1549\" data-end=\"1878\">Furthermore, Hotpack has proactively shifted to hybrid and electric vehicles. They have also reevaluated ongoing collaborations with suppliers and employees to achieve lower-carbon operations. The company is integrating robust sustainability frameworks to strengthen transparency and accountability.
