We are looking for a Junior Cost Estimator with CMA certification to join our Flexible Packaging Division. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who wants to develop their expertise in cost estimation within a dynamic packaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for flexible packaging products like films, laminates, pouches, and labels.
- Collaborate with the production, procurement, and sales teams to gather necessary data for costing materials, labor, and processes.
- Monitor project costs, compare estimates with actual expenses, and highlight discrepancies.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for various packaging projects.
- Conduct variance analysis and suggest strategies for cost reduction and process optimization.
- Generate detailed reports and support senior estimators with data analysis.
Requirements:
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Prior experience in cost estimation, preferably in the flexible packaging industry.
- Strong skills in cost estimation software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
